We are an established Oxfordshire based construction company run by husband and wife team, Ross and Nikki Lambert. With a  family of 4 children, numerous vintage tractors its fair to say we are not your usual building company.

Ross trained as a carpenter having done his apprenticeship in the dreaming spires of Oxford, after a few years he set up on his own and has gone form strength to strength ever since. Nikki has a background in medicine but has now turned her hand to helping Ross run their busy building business, you may find her in the office or even on the tools having gained a lot of experience form the self builds the couple have done together in the last 12 years.

Prior to this and during Covid  we were busy being creative too and came up with our Oxpods, a unique dining experience that were all handcrafted in our workshop. Although we have made the decision to no longer make the Oxpods we want to thank all of our wonderful customers who supported us in this venture

In recent years we’ve moved towards a more sustainable approach to construction, with a particular focus on retrofit — especially for heritage dwellings, using natural fibre insulation and lime plaster techniques.

We offer whole house retrofits with a fabric-first approach, taking a thoughtful, detailed approach to manage the complexities involved while ensuring a quality outcome.

Our ethos is to deliver exceptional  high quality work  and we deliver this with a combination of in house training, collaboration and great attention to detail. Ross is at the helm and manages each and every project and is present from day one until completion.

• Aside from being on site most days supporting Ross and the team; Nikki  has trained as a Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator, is a recent AECB CarbonLite graduate, and has become a Certified Passivhaus Tradesperson
