About us

We are an established Oxfordshire based construction company run by husband and wife team, Ross and Nikki Lambert. With a  family of 4 children, numerous vintage tractors its fair to say we are not your usual building company.

Ross trained as a carpenter having done his apprenticeship in the dreaming spires of Oxford, after a few years he set up on his own and has gone form strength to strength ever since. Nikki has a background in medicine but has now turned her hand to helping Ross run their busy building business, you may find her in the office or even on the tools having gained a lot of experience form the self builds the couple have done together in the last 12 years.

In recent years we have moved towards a more sustainable approach to construction and with a focus on Retrofit ,particularly with heritage dwellings with the use of natural fibre insulations and lime plaster techniques.

To support this Nikki has been training as a Retrofit Coordinator as well as being a recent AECB Carbonlite Graduate and recently has become a Certified Passive house Tradesperson

We are proud members of the Federation of Master Builders find out more  here and Nikki has recently been elected to the board of the Southern Counties Area with the FMB who’s who in the FMB

Prior to this and during Covid s we have been busy being creative too and came up with our Oxpods, a unique dining experience that were all handcrafted in our workshop. Although we have made the decision to no longer make the Oxpods we want to thank all of our wonderful customers who supported us in this venture
